Biography

Darin Roberts was born in April of 1966, has a wife, Angela, married in 1993, and two children; Christiana Teigh Roberts, born June 23, 1998, and Samuel Medd Roberts, born October 24, 2001.  Darin received his ministry training, starting when he was fifteen years old, from Tim Maxwell.  Rev. Maxwell had been a ministry team member under Bill Wilson, of Metro Ministries, in Iowa.  Darin started as a Bus Pastor, starting with fourteen children on a route, and by the second year was consistently having eighty boys and girls on his bus each week.  Rev. Maxwell also trained Darin in all skills necessary for Children’s Ministry within the church, as well as had Darin accompany him at Kids Crusades and church camps as his assistant.  Darin was then hired to be a Children’s Pastor across town at Northside Assembly of God.  After almost two years there, God called Darin to go to college, where he studied Children’s Ministry, as well as met his wife.  Darin has traveled as a children’s evangelist whenever the opportunity has arisen, and has worked on four church staffs as a full time Children’s Pastor.  Darin received his Certified Ministers Credentials in 1990, with the Central Latin American District of the Assemblies of God, and his License to Preach from the Peninsular Florida District of the Assemblies of God in 1995.  As of January, 2006, Darin holds Papers of Ordination with the Assemblies of God International Fellowship.
